Sadie is one of our prized Akitas. As you can see - Sadie has a wider head and it has been said that she looks somewhat like a male due to her width and big boned structure. She stands at 25 inches and is pure female producing some incredible puppies. Sadie weighs 95 pounds. She is very outgoing and loves the attention. Sadie is very loyal and places her humans first. When let loose on our 30 acres - she immediatly goes to hunt, run, and hurdle. What makes her special is she comes back every 2 or 3 minutes to insure that we're all right and to confirm her comand to go "run" - the command we give all our dogs when it is their turn to be let loose on our land. She is indeed a gem. Sadie is people/kid friendly and has been exposed to both small caged birds and cats on the property. In our experience with Sadie she has never been aggressive with either our birds or the cat. Although somewhat docile to her family and friends, Sadie keeps watch over the property. Always the first to bark and stand guard - Sadie has been tagged our "Keeper of the Watch".
